Week by Week Pregnancy
So you are at the dawn of motherhood, making the big decision of keeping the baby or finding yourself blessed that your wish came true and your bearing your future child. You find yourself overwhelmed facing what they call pregnancy period, but for you it is at the moment a high stake journey full of miracle and changes, you wonder about your pregnancy week by week.
Pregnancy, first trimester
You're facing about forty weeks of pregnancy, hence your fetus evolution should be normal, thus ensuring you won't be passing through early delivery or miscarriage. During the first three months, women have to endure maybe the nastiest symptoms such as fatigue, nausea, swollen breast, itching skin, backaches, mood shifts, anxiety, to name the most common ones. Not all women experience the same symptoms or at the exact same times. It's up to your body and mind as well, you health status at the break of motherhood, or your age as well. Once you are certain you're pregnant, your first and most comprehensive medical check-out takes place. An ultrasound check-up is essential, so that you and the father of your child may say "hello, baby" for the first time. If you're a lucky, you'll experience the miracle of hearing your baby's heart beats. I say if you're lucky, just because in some cases, this occurs later in pregnancy. So, make sure you'll be having a full profile of your medical analysis and that you'll see how the fetus status looks like in your particular case.
Pregnancy, second trimester
This is the best time, a semester of belly show-off, that is your body begins to show its baby. Most women feel better now, actually quite great. The irritating nausea and fatigue form experienced previous weeks go away. Your sleep improves as well, and if you begin doing some exercises, it may even influence your feeling more. Yet, your backache may grow more severe in some cases. Use the famous pregnancy pillow to decrease the discomfort. This semester the baby becomes more aware of itself and starts making its presence felt through rapid growth and some movement. You will feel your baby in the second trimester. Also, another miracle is in store for you these weeks. You can run another ultrasound to see if it's a boy or a girl.
Pregnancy, last trimester
In the last trimester, the belly is growing bigger and bigger as the baby grows mature. As for how you feel, unfortunately some of the uncomfortable symptoms the tiredness, sleep deprivation, peeing more often, and also the contractions of your first semester pops back. Here, you start preparing for delivery. Since your baby is big, it presses against your stomach, so you may experience what the specialists call "heartburns." The recipe is not eating too much, so as to avoid getting a heavy stomach, and moving after meals. Take your baby for a walk, do not sit or sleep all the time. Though there are mixed feelings, you'll find it's a fair-game, as all these symptoms trade off with the thrilling expectation for your baby's coming out into the world, that is when you get to see actually what you've been feeling all along.
